Sykesville Tae Kwon Do Academy, Inc. has been operating in the Carroll County for more than 15 years (although we have changed locations and name). No matter where we were, we strive to give our members the best possible service.

	Voted One Of Carroll County's Best Martial Arts Schools In Sykesville Tae Kwon Do Academy, we strive to be the best. We believe that quality does not equal quantity. Our belief is that no matter how many students you have, you must run it as though you only have one. Attention to detail and knowing everyone of our students names (without writing them on their uniforms) is our trademark

Master Bun Huor, chief instructor and 6th degree black belt, has been teaching martial arts for over 20 years. He has been awarded numerous awards for his achievements including "Instructor of the Year" and he has competed the Olympics, the highest level of competition. Sykesville Tae Kwon Do Academy is governed by the World Taekwondo Federation and is sanctioned by the USA Taekwondo Association and is a long standing member of the Maryland Taekwondo Association.

:: MEET OUR INSTRUCTORS

	Master Bun Huor, Chief Instructor 6th Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do and 2nd Degree Black Belt in Hapkido, Master Bun has competed in numerous competition around the United States.He took a gold medal in the 20th U.S. National Championship in 1994 in the Georgia Dome in Georgia, among many other championships. He has also been awarded "Martial Artist of the Year" by U.S.A. Martial Arts Organization. After many years of training, competing, and teaching, Master Bun says nothing is as fulfilling as helping others to succeed through the teaching of Tae Kwon Do. Today it is still his promise that quality comes before quantity.
	Kelly Patten Senior Instructor and Office Manager 2nd Degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do, Ms. Kelly has been teaching Tae Kwon Do for nearly 6 years and has also competed in National competitions. Ms. Kelly is involved in training and molding children which teaches them respect for everyone, as well as boosts their self-confidence. Ms. Kelly finds this very rewarding to make a long-lasting impact in these young lives.
	Jay Cambias Senior Instructor 2nd Degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do, Mr. Jay has been teaching and learning from Master Bun for nearly 15 years. Mr. Jay teaches the Little Ninjas as well as the Dragon classes on a regular basis and is on of the most popular instructors on our staff.
	Ralf Rogall Instructor 1st Degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do, Mr. Ralf is fairly new to Sykesville Tae Kwon Do Academy. He started with us 3 years ago beginning as a no belt and making his way up to black belt and assistant instructor. He is well liked by everyone and has a way with the little students, partially because he still has the little child inside of him.
